Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
IntelligentNoise, LLC ("IntelligentNoise," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform.
1. Scope; Roles
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process as a controller when you visit, register for, or use the Platform, or otherwise interact with us.
When you use the Platform to process information about your own contacts, leads, and prospects ("Customer Data"), you act as the controller (or equivalent) of that information and we act as your processor/service provider, processing it on your behalf and on your documented instructions. You are responsible for providing any notices and for obtaining any consent or other lawful basis required for us to process that information.
For enterprise customers where we process data under a separate agreement, we act as a processor/service provider and the applicable Data Processing Addendum (DPA) will govern.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:
- Name, email, password (hashed), profile details
- Demo request information (name, email, phone, inquiry details)
- Support communications, survey responses
- Files you upload or inputs provided for services
- Payment details (processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers)
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device identifiers, IP address, browser and OS type
- Cookie identifiers, approximate location (derived from IP)
- Referring/exit pages, feature usage
- Timestamps, crash logs, diagnostics, security signals
2.3 Generated/Derived Data
- AI-generated outputs
- Engagement metrics and in-product analytics
2.4 From Third Parties
- Authentication providers (e.g., Google OAuth)
- Analytics services, fraud prevention tools
- Publicly available sources
2.5 Customer Data You Process Through the Platform
When you connect tools or upload data, the Platform processes personal data about your contacts, leads, and prospects on your behalf so it can provide its features (research, follow-up drafting, and signal tracking). This may include:
- Names, business contact details, role, and company information
- Records from systems you connect, such as CRM activity and communication history
- Publicly available business signals (e.g., funding, hiring, leadership changes, product news)
- Credentials and access tokens for the services you connect, held to operate those integrations
We process this Customer Data as your processor/service provider, under your instructions and the applicable agreement, and not for our own independent purposes. You are responsible for the rights, notices, and lawful basis required for us to process it on your behalf.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services
- Process transactions and send related information
- Provide customer support
- Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
- Communicate with you about products, services, and events (you may opt out of marketing)
- Analyze and improve performance and features
- Comply with laws and enforce terms
- Prevent, detect, and address fraud, abuse, and misuse
We may use de-identified/aggregated data for analytics, research, and service improvement.
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our processing bases include:
- Contract: To provide the Platform
- Legitimate interests: Security, improvement, analytics, anti-fraud
- Consent: Where required (e.g., for certain cookies/marketing)
- Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers/processors (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, AI model providers, analytics providers, email delivery services) under appropriate contracts
- With law enforcement or regulators where required
- To protect rights, safety, and property
- In connection with corporate transactions (merger, acquisition, financing)
- With your direction or consent
Where we use third-party AI model providers (such as Anthropic and OpenAI) and other infrastructure providers as sub-processors, they process data under contractual terms that require appropriate security and confidentiality and that prohibit using your inputs, outputs, or other Customer Data to train their own models.
6. International Transfers
We are a Michigan-based U.S. company and may transfer personal information to the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers to countries without adequacy decisions.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data category and context. We may retain de-identified or aggregated data longer.
8. Data Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical measures intended to protect personal information, including:
- Encryption in transit and at rest
- Access controls and authentication
- Regular security assessments
- Secure file handling and access controls
For the Platform specifically, these measures include tenant isolation between customers, scoped access controls, and a credential proxy that protects the credentials for the services you connect. Agent actions are logged and auditable, and actions that write to your systems or send communications are designed to keep a human in the loop.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; to object or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can manage marketing preferences via unsubscribe links in emails.
To exercise rights, contact support@intelligentnoise.ai. We may verify your request and deny it where permitted by law.
10. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security. Where required by law, we provide a cookie consent mechanism and honor your choices, including Global Privacy Control signals where supported.
You can control cookies in your browser settings; some features may not function if disabled.
11. Children's Privacy
The Platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, or under the applicable age of digital consent in the EEA/UK. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. U.S. State Disclosures (e.g., California)
For U.S. state laws including CCPA/CPRA, we act as a business/service provider. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by those laws.
California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 9 and may designate an authorized agent.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where applicable.
13. Model Training; Opt-In
We will not use your non-public inputs or outputs to train our or third-party models unless you opt in (where available) or agree separately in writing. You may change your preference in account settings (when available) or by contacting us.
14. Third-Party Links & Services
The Platform may link to third-party websites or services we do not control. Their privacy policies govern those services.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use constitutes acceptance.
